CactiSwap is a community platform that allows users to buy, sell, trade, and discuss cactus and plant-related items with other users.

CactiSwap is not a broker, escrow service, payment processor, or party to transactions between users.

All transactions are conducted solely between users.

You must be at least 18 years old to use CactiSwap.

By using the platform, you confirm that you are legally allowed to participate in transactions involving the items listed in your local jurisdiction.

Users are fully responsible for their listings, communications, transactions, shipping, payment arrangements, and compliance with local laws and regulations.

CactiSwap does not verify users, listings, identities, genetics, legality, or shipment outcomes.

Use the platform at your own risk.

Spines are a premium virtual currency used within CactiSwap for sales, auctions, and cosmetic purchases. 1 Spine = $0.01 USD.

Spines can be purchased with real money, earned through sales or auctions, traded, or gifted to other users.

Purchased Spines are subject to a 7-day transfer hold and a 14-day withdrawal hold to protect against fraud and chargeback abuse.

Spines have no monetary value outside of CactiSwap and are non-transferable to external platforms except through the withdrawal process.

CactiSwap reserves the right to adjust Spines balances in cases of fraud, exploitation, or system error.

If you are unsatisfied with a Spines purchase, you may request a refund through the Buy Spines page or Wallet. All refund requests are reviewed manually by an administrator before any refund is processed.

Approved refunds will deduct the refunded Spines from your account balance, and the refund will be processed to your original payment method. This may take several business days.

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider (PayPal, credit card, etc.) instead of requesting a refund through CactiSwap will result in a permanent ban from the platform.

Chargebacks are treated as fraudulent activity. If you have an issue with a purchase, always request a refund through the platform first — we will work with you to resolve it.

Refund eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of CactiSwap administrators.

CactiSwap is not responsible for disputes, damaged shipments, lost packages, chargebacks, failed trades, or misrepresented items.

Users are encouraged to communicate clearly and use payment methods they trust.

Optional donations may be offered to support platform development.

Donations are voluntary and do not guarantee special treatment, transaction protection, or platform liability coverage.

Certain cosmetic profile features or badges may be provided as donor rewards.

Users retain ownership of content they post but grant CactiSwap permission to display and distribute that content through the platform.

You may not copy, scrape, or redistribute platform content without permission.

CactiSwap may suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion for violations of these Terms or activity that harms the community or platform.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

CactiSwap makes no guarantees regarding uptime, security, transaction outcomes, or user behavior.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CactiSwap and CascadiaCultivated LLC shall not be liable for any damages, losses, disputes, or claims arising from use of the platform.

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
